Telephone number: +447024085743,+44702 401 6761Is h.r. manager of MILLENNIUM HOTELS LONDON James Frank %26amp; Mrs Williams or not?
It's a scam. The emails don't match up to the real hotel's and the phone number is a call forwarding number that forwards your call anywhere in the world. A +4470 number is NEVER used by a UK business. And these scammers are so stupid that they misspell the hotel name in the email address they use, spelling millennium with only on N! No 5-star hotel would make that mistake

The fact that you were offered a job over the internet without ever having an in-person interview is a sure sign of a scam. No UK company ever offers anyone a job without at least one interview, especially for someone they would be sponsoring from overseas.

And hotel jobs are NOT on the skills shortage list so NO hotel in the UK could ever get a Certificate of Sponsorship from the Home Office to hire an overseas employee

At least 3 people a day on Yahoo are being scammed with fake hotel jobs. These are almost always run out of Nigeria

And what corporate HR Manager would sign a letter on behalf of himself and HIS WIFE???

DO NOT respond. DO NOT provide any passport details. DO NOT provide any bank account details. DO NOT send any money. This is a scam out to steal your money and your identity

Here are the real phone and fax numbers of that hotel. Call and ask to speak to their HR department and they will confirm you are being scammed and to cut off all contact with these people

The real hotel email is enquiries@millenniumhotels.co.ukIs h.r. manager of MILLENNIUM HOTELS LONDON James Frank %26amp; Mrs Williams or not?
Take a look at the e-mail address; it isn't millenium.com or milleniumhotels.com, it's millenium-my.com. This is probably a phishing scam, especially if the ';contract'; asks for very personal info.

The official site for the hotel is:

http://www.millenniumhotels.com/corporat鈥?/a>

The web page of millenium-my.com is an empty template.

http://millenuim-my.com/default.aspx

Oh, and Millenium Hotels has at least 4 hotels in the London area.

http://www.millenniumhotels.com/corporat鈥?/a>

But, if you did apply with them, you should contact the REAL hotel. If it is a scam, they'd probably like to know so they can involve the authorities.

I have get job offer from one hotel called The Cavendish London , 81 Jermyn Street , St James, London . SW1Y6J?

please answer me very soonI have get job offer from one hotel called The Cavendish London , 81 Jermyn Street , St James, London . SW1Y6J?
If this offer was made over the internet, and you never visited the hotel and interviewed with at least two people you are being scammed. From their own website --

#

If your application is successful, you shall be asked to attend an interview at the hotel.

#

Every candidate shall have a minimum of two interviews, one with a manager in that department and a member of the Human Resources Team. Depending on the role you may be required to attend a trial or a further interview.

#

The recruitment process may take 2 weeks or longer, this shall depend upon various factors such as the position applied for, the number of applications we receive and the interview process. We will however endeavour to keep you up to date.

Here is the real hotel website with their phone and fax number at the bottom. To confirm this is a scam, dial the number on their website, not the one you got in the email (which I can guess is a +4470 premium rate redirect number that forwards your call overseas). If the email didn't come from the email address jobs@thecavendishlondon.com you are not dealing with the actual Cavendish Hotel

http://www.thecavendish-london.co.uk/car鈥?/a>

Whatever you do, do not send a copy of your passport or send any money.I have get job offer from one hotel called The Cavendish London , 81 Jermyn Street , St James, London . SW1Y6J?
Did you apply for a job with them? If not, it will certainly be a scam.

Does the telephone number they give begin +44 70 ? - SCAM

The postcode is the wrong format to be a genuine British postcode - SCAM.

Under no circumstances will hotels in the UK offer jobs to people from outside the European Union, who have no rights to work in the UK without them going to extreme bureaucratic procedures to obtain a visa, and since there are several million people in the UK who do not have jobs, why should they go to the trouble and expense?

For sure you did not or you would not have asked the question.

  • What is going on with James Brown widow? Why is she staying in a hotel if she has a residence?

His lawyer and family are sorting through things as they weren't legally married. What is going on with James Brown widow? Why is she staying in a hotel if she has a residence?
they say the marriage aint ligit so cant have nothingWhat is going on with James Brown widow? Why is she staying in a hotel if she has a residence?
    For The Room Service
i heard, in rumor, she's scarred there was a hitman out there and she doesnt want people too know where she is. maybe true, may not be.
Because she's not his widow. She was married to someone else when she married James Brown making her marriage to James null and void.
By law, they were not married.
I read about that yesterday, it said that her and James Brown where never married. They went to get married a couple of years back and they couldnt legally get married cause she was still legally married to a man in TX. She had to wait for that divorce to go through before her and James Brown could sign the marriage license.. and they never actually signed it so legally she dont have any rights to his estate, only his kids do..
Because in the eyes of the law, she may have not been legally married to him. When she ';married'; James, she was still married to someone else even though that marriage was quickly annulled shortly after. For more info, click on the link below.
his family didn't know he was married

nope. I would do it myself
    That's ok.

Getting autograph from superstar is hard to get but if given the chance you know where they stay, you should take it... :)

    Good luck!
they might think you are crazy, or a really great fan
Many people do that. Whenever James or Bryant comes to Detroit there are many people standing outside their hotel. There is only one hotel the players stay at here and it is in Birmingham just northwest of Detroit. So people tend to go there just to see them.
no i never done it. but I would. Once I waited about anbout and a half in a line to get Nascar drivers autograph.
I think it is OK.=) if you would be really happy about it then go for it.
Not my thing, but if you want to do it, do it. It can't be too weird b/c thousands of people do it every year. Who knows, if you catch them on the right day, at the right time, they might actually sign something for you.
Yes, that would be a stalker and you can get prison time and a hefty fine.

Just go to a game or a special meet-n-greet...Don't risk it.

    Good luck!!!
i wouldn't, but i would wait outside the arena after the game to try to get autographs. i have done that before
    you'll prolly get shot
It's rather annoying when there are large masses of people outside of the hotel my team and I stay at. I appreciate my fans but there is a limit such as when I am eating with my family and outside the place I am residing in.
If you're a HALFWAY attractive woman, I'd skip on Kobe.

The contracts he has sent are not The Cavendish hotel contracts and have been issued without our consent. I am sorry you have been mis-lead by this individual and would like to repeat there is no connection to the hotel and therefore the job offers do not exist.

That is a SCAM for so many reasons

1 - a hotel in the UK cannot sponsor an overseas employee as hotel workers are not on the skills shortage list. They would have to prove that they advertised the position for 6 weeks and not one EU citizen applied before they could hire a foreigner. In this economy and with tens of thousands of experienced hotel workers unemployed in the UK alone, NO hotel could get a certificate of sponsorship

2 - if you did not fly to the UK for an in-person interview at the hotel, the job does not exist. No company in the UK would ever offer a job to anyone over the internet. You normally have 2-3 in person interviews before you get a job. The Cavendish talks about their recruitment process on their website.

    http://www.thecavendish-london.co.uk/car鈥?/a>

3 - that phone number is an international redirect number, not a UK number. No UK business would ever use a +4470 number. That is a number that forwards your call anywhere in the world, not in the UK

4 - a UK travel agency cannot process work visas. If you were asked to contact anyone but the UK Home Office Border Agency, the British High Commission in India, or VFS, their authorised visa representative you are being scammed

5 - the only registered company with the name Wings Travel in the UK is a coach travel company http://www.wingstravel.co.uk/index.php

Here is the real Cavendish hotel website. Call their number, ask to speak with Human Resources, and they'll confirm this offer is not legit

    http://www.thecavendish-london.co.uk/

It's cheaper to make an international call then to spend thousands of pounds on non-existent visa fees

    Or you can email them

    http://www.thecavendish-london.co.uk/con鈥?/a>
A travel agency cannot set you up with a work visa, this is a scam

If the hotel were to employ you they would have to do the work applying for the visa %26amp; pay for it, not you

The number you have been given to ring is also a premium rate number which means it would cost you a fortune to ring it

This is a SCAM, ignore it %26amp; look for work elsewhere
Did you apply for a job with them

Did you have an interview for this job

I suspect the answer to both questions is no - - so why would anyone offer a job to someone they have not seen - for one reason to scam you and take your money. The offer is NOT from The Cavendish - it is from someone who wants your money

The telephone number is a mobile (cell) phone which could be anywhere in the world .

Delete the e-mail - forget it - and wise up on th internet or you will lose a lot of your money and get nothing back for it.

    ..
Below is a link to the Cavandish Hotel - you can phone them up and ask if you feel unsure about whom to contact in regard to the job offer. . .

    http://www.thecavendish-london.co.uk/
I can only repeat what others have said - the phone number is not a London phone number. This is not legitimate. why don't you ring the hotel and ask this question, they will tell you.
One thing that I can tell you for certain, is that it's not a London phone number.

    Most probably a scam.
    It's a scam.

Prestigious Hotel and a mobile phone number - I don't think so.
It sounds like you need to contact Alex Williams for Visa advice.

I'd contact him if I were you.

Unless you actually applied for the job do not have anything to do with this ';job'; offer as you will probably be scammed out of a lot of money. They would probably ask you to send them money for a work permit, a flight ticket or a visa and if you send them any money you will not receive anything except demands for more money. Under no circumstance send them a photocopy of your passport or any other personal details.

If they have provided you with a telephone number that starts anything like 44 70 then you are definitely being scammed as those type of numbers are mobile redirector numbers which can be answered by anyone, anywhere in the world and are usually answered by someone in Nigeria...these scams are often referred to as Nigerian 419 advance fee frauds.I WANT TO ASK THAT IS THERE ANY DUKES HOTEL IN LONDON, AT 35,JAMES STREET.?

Only staying for two nights and both hotels look great. Just not sure if St. James is worth the extra $$$. thxTraveling to Montreal and can't decide between Hotel L St. James and Intercontinental. Any thoughs?
The St-James is a nicer hotel if you don't mind paying more. Madonna stayed there when she was in town.Traveling to Montreal and can't decide between Hotel L St. James and Intercontinental. Any thoughs?
I have stayed at the intercontinental. No problems there.

I have never stayed at the St James.
I guess this all depends on what you are planning to do in Montreal. Both hotels have wonderful locations. Though the St. James Hotel seems to be more in the heart of Old Montreal.

So, if you were planning to spend a lot of time in Old Montreal and/or you want the feeling of living in another time, spend the extra cash. But you were planning to go out a little bit (particularly if you were planning to experience the nightlife on Crescent or St. Laurent), go for the Intercontinental.
Firstly, check tripadvisor.com and see what other people who have stayed at either place have to say. But, being a Montrealer, I have to say that there's so much to do in this fine city that you won't be spending THAT much time in your hotel.

The biggest deciding factor, should be what you want to do. If you're the clubbing type, find something downtown. If you want to sightsee Old Montreal %26amp; the areas around it, then choose something there (be warned, we have a bi-weekly fireworks display that's held a stone's throw from there and it gets LOUD (I live on the other side of Mt Royal %26amp; can still hear it)). Personally, I would not stay in Old Montreal because the costs are so exhorbitant in that area and they really do take advantage of tourists.

ABOUT LONDON and the St. James Club hotel????

    hello,

a friend and I will be travelling to london next month and we will be staying at the st. james club hotel. is that a nice hotel? how do i get there from heathrow airport? how much is a taxi ride to this hotel?

any other tips about travelling to london would be greatly appreciated!!ABOUT LONDON and the St. James Club hotel????
hey i just answered your other question.... following is the advice from heathrow...

Piccadilly Line (underground) straight to Green Park station.. and the hotel's a 2 mins walk from the station.

This is simple n cheap, a taxi ride will cost you at least 拢30, whereas this comes up to.... just 拢15 at the very max.

as mentioned in the earlier post, you should get a week's travel card (zones 1-3) as this is the best method.. cabs are very expensive and worthless unless you're travelling late at night.

however heathrow aiport is zone 6, so upon arrival just buy a normal day's travel card (all zones)....

London is divided into 6 zones... 1 being the inner most of the city, 6 being the outskirts. you'll be in zone 1-2... so just in case you should get zone 3 included.ABOUT LONDON and the St. James Club hotel????
You can either get a taxi that will cost approx 拢45-55 from Heathrow or take the tube train from Heathrow to Green Park station. You can walk from there. This is the cheapest way. A good resource for travelling to London is http://www.londonvacationguide.com
I just ';multimapped'; the postcode of the St James Club Hotel, given in the link here:

http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-鈥?/a> (mixed reviews, but some are very good)

    http://www.multimap.com/map/browse.cgi?c鈥?/a>

If that's the one, you're just off Piccadilly, with Fortnum and Mason, The Ritz and the Royal Academy within a few minutes. St James's Street is famous for its Gentlemen's Clubs, including Brooks, Boodles and Whites - and famous particularly in Regency times.

Just up the road (east) is Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square. As the above respondent said, a travel card is a good idea so you can hop on and off buses (also right about the other travel); but Oxford Street and Regent Street are within walking distance. You're very central.

I am booked into Crowne Plaza Hotel St James and I wish to go to Chelsea Football Ground - best route please?

get a tube district line (if your lucky you can get a wimbledon bound one and don't change at earls court) or piccadilly line west bound to earls court then you want a wimbledon bound (south bound district line) tube to 'Fulham Broadway' come out onto the road turn left and Stamford Bridge Home Of Chelsea Football Club The Champions Of England is on the left, good luck and enjoy the game. • Is st james hotel in ny any good?

it depends what you're looking for.

we stayed there last weekend, my first trip to n.y.

the st james hotel is in about the best location it could be. you're 100 yards from broadway and times square, the other way is avenue of the americas, and it's very close to a lot of the very big expensive hotels - the marriott is just round the corner for example. (have a drink in their revolving bar on the 45th floor!)

    but...

you get what you pay for, and the st james hotel is much cheaper than the alternatives. consequently, while our room was small and we had a comfy bed, small wardrobe, wc and bath with shower over, i.e. the basic essentials BUT we had a LOT of noise!!

the radiator pipes rattled all night, the wind blowing down the lightwell outside made the aircon grilles rattle, we were close to the noisy lift, the heating system had some kind of heater above the bathroom ceiling sounded like a jet engine, and people didn't seem to mind standing in the hallway and having a chat at 3am.

the place looks like they've just started a sort of do-it-yourself re-fit. our bathroom fittings were all brand new, and quite modern, but parts of the lounge area off reception looked about thirty years old and in need of that re-fit!!

all we wanted was a bed for a couple of nights so we could go and explore. except for the noise, we got what we wanted.

the deli next door is ok for essentials, and internet access, but we chose not to eat there. get down to balthazar at 80 spring street, soho for the best brunch you'll ever have.

Do you think the St. James Hotel is really haunted?

Or are they just using it to advertise for business?

(Notice the famous people they claim have visited there!)

Many people in New Mexico believe it to be haunted.

I have provided links to three investigations (same group though) of the hotel.

It is worth a visit to simply for it's historical value and especially if you are a fan of Old West history.

In Twilight, Don't you think alice should have heard james tricking bella in the hotel room?

I was just re-reading it and i thought that alice should be able to hear James talking to bella on the cell phone, what with her super sensitive hearing and all that.

Or wouldn't she have had any visions about him tricking her?

i was just wondering what your opinion on the matter was.In Twilight, Don't you think alice should have heard james tricking bella in the hotel room?
Yeah, you're right. The thought has come to my mind occasionally too. But I agree with the other person on here, that she was probably to preoccupied by trying to give her some privacy. In Twilight, Don't you think alice should have heard james tricking bella in the hotel room?
This ones a little tricky. I agree that's its a little bit of both answers, the whole privacy thing and the recorded message, but what I don't get is why Alice didn't have a vision in the airport when Bella decided to run. I know Bella had it in her head that she was going to the studio, but it wasn't until they got to the airport that she devised her escape plan to run through the bathroom. You would think then Alice would have had a vision, but I guess you could say she was preoccupied then waiting for Edward to get off the plane. Sometimes I think its best to not really dwell on these things bc you start questioning the book and its written to entertain you. When you start getting logical it takes all the fun out of the story. :)
    No.

Remember, James got a recorded message of Renee, Bella's mom so if Alice had been listening she would have thought it Bella was talking to Renee.

She didn't have a vision about James, because Bella would have thought about her mom purposely, so that is what Alice would have seen, and not James.

    xxx GG
I don't think her hearing is that sensitive. Bella was in the other room with the door closed, and she was saying what james told her to. Plus, Bella never decided to do anything until she ran away in the airport.
It's called a plot device. The author needed for Alice not to hear, or toknow, therefore she didn't.

Good authors keep their plot devices consistent throughout their books. Bad ones don't.
yeah, but she was proably a bit preoccupied by wat she had seen and trying 2 give bella some privacy. also she had a vision of the room - she just didnt know how bella got there.
Bit of a flaw in the plan there.

    Your right.

How to find a bargain for an average hotel in London, preferably near St. James Park tube??

    Any websites?

    Or offers?

Cheers. How to find a bargain for an average hotel in London, preferably near St. James Park tube??
I think that Bed and Breakfasts are the best way to go in London when it comes to central and inexpensive lodging. Plus you get free breakfast. London B%26amp;B's aren't as charming and homey as the ones in the country, they're much less expensive than large hotels and offer private ensuite rooms that are quite clean.

I've stayed in the Vegas hotel http://www.vegashotel.co.uk/ near Victoria Station. This room was bizarre since you entered through the loo to get to the bed, however, at least it was ensuite, cheap, clean, included breakfast and had a television. That area around and behind Victoria has dozens of similar B%26amp;Bs, and the same is true of areas surrounding most of the city's main central train stations, King's cross area has loads, it's not quite as close to the city center but it is close to excellent transportation. Staying near Victoria is a good idea because of all the great transportation connections and it's a safe area. http://www.4hotels.co.uk is a good place to start B%26amp;B shopping. It also lets you browse by region of London. The bigger sites like www.hotels.com, www.expedia.com, etc. usually have some B%26amp;B listings for London as well.

I'd also recommend the Hotel St. Simeon B%26amp;B in Kensington http://www.stsimeon.com/. This B%26amp;B had spacious rooms, gorgeous lobby, great breakfasts and was in a really nice area of the city, right off Gloucester Road tube station.

Rates for these types of B%26amp;Bs usually start at around 40 pounds ($80) for a double room. Cheers! How to find a bargain for an average hotel in London, preferably near St. James Park tube??
the problem here is your talking about the expensive part of london, So what do you call an average hotel? What is your budget? These are the nearest hotels:

The most likely place for cheap hotels near that location is around Pimlico. Check out these hotels, mainly bed and breakfasts:

however if you want a little bit more than a b+b checkout the city inn westminster which is always well reviewed

How much would it cost to stay at the St. James Hotel in London?

    for 5 or 6 nights?

Also, I heard that only 2 people can stay in a hotel room. Is that true? If so, why? I'm asking because my two best friends and I are thinking about taking a trip and staying in a hotel, and we don't want to pay for 2 rooms for only 3 of us...How much would it cost to stay at the St. James Hotel in London?
According to the large hotels website (booking.com) it's 1236.25$ for five nights per room - but you MUST get two rooms since there are only 1 king size or two small beds per room - you should check with the hotel first if they can squeeze in another bed...

The hotel is very expensive you can find much much much cheaper hotels that will agree for 3 people in one room, and also if you've got the cash for that hotel, you probably can afford another single room...How much would it cost to stay at the St. James Hotel in London?
the internet sayed 427$ a night

Has anyone stayed at The James Hotel in Chicago and if so does anyone know who makes there pillows?

They are amazing and I called up the hotel and they wont tell me. It's like this big secret. I want them for my bed at home :)Has anyone stayed at The James Hotel in Chicago and if so does anyone know who makes there pillows?
Smart hotel management would give you an order blank for the pillows, and make some money off of the sale.Has anyone stayed at The James Hotel in Chicago and if so does anyone know who makes there pillows?
I have a friend who stayed there once. She, too, thought the pillows were super comfortable, but unfortunately she doesn't know who manufacturers them. Telling from the pictures I've seen online, the rooms look very polished and spacious. They also bring flat screen TV, 300 thread count sheets, designer furniture and bath products -- pretty much all the essentials you'll need for a comfy stay in downtown Chicago.
American Hotel Registry is one company hotels use. They sell things by the dozen, just to warn you. Not always, though.
